Spring 1999... On vacation in LA, Steve gets together to jam with Ken and Wayne now both California residents. The three are having so much fun jamming together the question comes up: Why not reunite? Pearson returns home to Lynnwood, and phones Keith with the question. Keith agrees, and asks Don, who declines. Keith takes over Don's parts, with Wayne on bass.

It takes a month and a half of rehearsing for Steve to get Keith 'back into shape'. The California guys fly up for an intense 48 hours of practicing, and they are ready to perform.August 1999: The Heaters first perform in Lewiston, Idaho and then headline at Pain in The Grass, Ballard Firehouse and The Swiss, always with favorable crowds. "Where have you guys been? It's been too long! This brings back memories," are only some of the responses.
The guys are hyped!!By September, they're on their way to San Diego, performing 2 dates, then again New Year's Eve in Seattle. Their web site www.heatersrock.com and their press coverage keeps fans informed. The Heaters love to perform and their audience feels the excitement.
